Frizz got you down? Fight back with the Tigi Catwalk Curls Rock leave-in moisturizer.

Did you know that the reason your curly hair turns frizzy is because it’s starving for moisture? Curly hair is naturally more prone to dryness than any other type of hair. Because of this it’s usually parched and looking to soak in moisture from where ever it can and that somewhere is usually the moist air around you. When it drinks it in frizzing occurs and there goes your hairstyle.

Straightening your hair and getting it to shine can seem like an unlikely duo. Sebastian Laminates straightening liquigel makes the impossible possible.

I really do love this stuff. I’ve used it in the past and I loved how it made my hair feel. Because it includes silicone in it Sebastian Laminates products promote tons of shine and leaves your hair feeling soft and silky.

For best results use a dime to quarter sized amount and apply to damp hair. Use a wide toothed comb to evenly distribute from root to tip and blow dry straight. Touch up with a flat iron and you’ll be amazed at how great your hair looks for having just straightened it with two heated styling tools.

What so great about the Bumble & Bumble spray? Well, for one, it provides your hairstyle with hold without making it stiff. Soft, moveable hair is what it’s all about these days and lacquered hair is just so darned 80s.

The Bumble & Bumble spray is humidity proof so those who straighten their curly hair will benefit from its protective properties. The vitamin B complex within the spray also helps nourish your hair instead of drying it out like some lower quality hair sprays.

I’ve been a bad, bad beauty blogger. This poor blog has sat, ignored and unappreciated for months now. It deserves better and so do you wonderful people who visit this blog.

On that note I am resurrecting the All for Hair blog but taking it in a new direction. This blog will now be dedicated to helping you, the readers, navigate your way through the confusing maze of hair care products on the market.

Hello to the fellow hair obsessed! Sorry it has been a few days since I posted at All For Hair. I had some “life stuff” that got in the way. But by way of an apology I’ve got a Beauty Product Review Blog Carnival that will take ten years off your life. OK—maybe not quite but it is pretty kick ass.

Below are submissions by fellow beauty seekers on their favorite beauty products.  Read the reviews because you just never know when or where you’ll discover your new favorite beauty product.

There’s no denying it—summer is harsh on your hair. Heat and damage from the sun plus chlorine and salt can all work together to leave your hair feeling like its own version of a straw hat. But thankfully there are specifically designed hair care products to combat this summertime abuse.

Cue Warren Tricomi’s Strength Collection. This line is packed with vitamins and silicone to strengthen the hair from the inside out plus keep the outer cuticle smooth and tangle free. If you can keep the outer layer from snarling and breaking you’ve won most of the dry hair battle right there.

One of the most important factors to take into consideration when choosing a hairstyle that suits you is your face shape. Today we’re talking about hairstyles for round faces and which ones to gravitate to as well as which ones to avoid.

What to Look for in a Good Hairstyle

The trick to a good complimentary hairstyles is very similar to how we apply makeup. You want to accentuate the good and downplay or camouflage the bad. With hairstyles for round faces you want to counteract some of the roundness and make the face appear a little longer rather than wider.

We’ve all seen them—those God awful hair color faux pas that leave us wondering “What the hell were you thinking?” Well, about two weeks ago my husband and I took our two little girls to an annual event where I live called the Teddy Bear Picnic.

This is always a popular event and brings in a crowd from all areas of the city. It also brings in some hair color disasters the likes of which hasn’t been seen the early days of Cyndi Lauper. Below is one of three pictures my loyal (and brave) assistant (husband) managed to snap off using our phone’s camera without being detected.
